When learning a new programming language the first program that one typically writes prints out the phrase “Hello, World” on the screen. This tradition started in the 70s with a C programming language tutorial. Well, here is my “Hello, World” of blogging.
I have been developing web pages for over 15 years now, starting when I was 11. Today I am the Webmaster for the University of Northern Colorado and the web developer for few classical music web sites. When I graduated from UNC with a degree in Music Performance I decided that I wanted to go into web development. My primary site was (and still is) FluteInfo.com, and while it still receives about 1000 hits a day, I don’t feel as connected to it since I no longer play the flute.
