First Run of the Day
We woke up today and went to the Copper Mountain Chapel for church, and then went out skiing. The Mountain received around 11 inches of powder the night before and it was still snowing. Because of the amount of fresh snow on the hill, it was difficult to gage the snow conditions.
You can see Michelle in the lower right side of the photo. About 1/2 mile down the hill, Michelle fell and her left ski ejected (like it was supposed to). Unfortunately, her right ski did not eject and it got twisted behind her. I skied back up to her, and manually ejected the ski. Next we had someone go get ski patrol for us, and Michelle was taken to the Copper Emergency Room.
